John D. Parisi
Attorney John Parisi is dedicated to providing his clients with guidance, empathy, and honest advocacy.
John graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2006 after earning his Masters Degree in Literature from Northern Illinois University in 2004. He has been practicing family law in McHenry County since 2010.
Before moving to McHenry County, he served as an Assistant Public Defender in Kane County representing indigent clients in criminal proceedings. There he developed his litigation skills representing clients in numerous contested hearings including jury and bench trials. His knowledge and litigation experience allow him to provide his clients with zealous representation, keeping them informed, and comfortable throughout their proceedings.
John lives in McHenry County and was elected to the Woodstock District 200 Board of Education in 2017, and was re-elected as a Member in 2021. He has served as Board Secretary since 2019. John is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the McHenry County Bar Association.
He is a doting father who shares his love of music and reading with his children. During the summer, his family can regularly be seen biking around McHenry County. He is a strong believer in the importance of community service. He hopes to one day smoke the perfect brisket.
